Scotia Place

Hotel Development
From full-service hotels that cater to convention crowds to boutique stays made for game nights, concerts and quick city getaways, The C+E is ready for a new wave of hotel development that reflects the vibrancy of The District itself.
Stampede Trail
The C+E's main street enabling future commercial and retail development, it's the future home to sidewalk patios and local boutiques. Designed with gathering in mind, this pedestrian-friendly seam ties together the BMO Centre, the Saddledome, the future Event Centre, arts and culture, and is the main connector into Stampede Park. The hub of The C+E, in the heart of it all.
Green Line LRT
The City of Calgary's future Green Line will see an LRT station in the heart of The C+E, providing increased, easy and affordable access to the district and its attractions for residents and visitors.
6th Street Underpass
This project creates a critical north-south connection to East Village and surrounding communities and allows for flexibility on Stampede Trail and increased possibilities for riverfront residential in The District. The underpass will be delivered in coordination with Scotia Place event centre.
